The Research and Design Directorate coordinates activities related to research, design, and techno-economic evaluation in the fields of construction, urban planning, and infrastructure. Through its four specialized sections, the directorate ensures balanced and sustainable territorial development, compliance with safety and efficiency standards in construction, and optimization of costs and resource utilization.
Territorial Planning and Urbanism Design Section – develops urban planning strategies and regulations for the development of urban and rural areas.
Architectural and Construction Design Section – creates technical and aesthetic solutions for buildings, considering functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Industrial and Engineering Networks Design Section – designs essential technical infrastructure, including water supply, sewage, electricity, gas distribution, telecommunications, and public lighting networks.
Cost Estimation and Techno-Economic Calculations Section – assesses costs and project feasibility, preparing cost estimates, financial analyses, and tender documentation.
