Accreditation Scope

The Research and Laboratory Testing Department within I.P. Territorial Planning, Urbanism, Construction, and Housing Office is dedicated to conducting quality tests for construction materials and works, ensuring compliance and safety in projects.

The activity of the section is regulated by the Urbanism and Construction Code No. 434/2023 and is carried out in accordance with national and international standards of excellence..

The main field of activity of the Research and Laboratory Testing Section is testing construction materials upon request from third parties, as well as providing services to construction product certification centers.

The laboratory has been accredited since 1996 by the National Accreditation Center MOLDAC, according to the EN 17025 standard.
In 2006, reaccreditation was conducted according to the SM SR EN ISO/IEC 17025:2006 standard.
In 2019, the laboratory received accreditation under the new SM SR EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard, reaffirming its commitment to quality and competence.
