The Architectural and Structural Design Section

The Architectural and Structural Design Section specializes in developing architectural and construction projects, transforming visions and functional requirements into technical and aesthetic solutions for buildings. This section oversees all aspects of building design and execution, from the initial concept to final implementation, considering both aesthetic and technical safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Section:

  • Architectural design: Creating plans and architectural sketches for buildings and urban complexes. These must meet functional and aesthetic requirements, integrating aspects such as architectural style, local regulations, and environmental impact.
  • Structural design: Structural engineers develop solutions for foundations, load-bearing structures, and construction elements (concrete, metal, wood, etc.), ensuring projects meet safety standards, durability, and efficient material usage.
  • Building systems design: The section is also responsible for designing technical building systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installations. These projects are essential for ensuring comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
  • Technical consultancy and regulatory compliance: The section provides consultancy throughout the design and construction process, ensuring that all proposed solutions comply with legal regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Additionally, it may issue technical approvals and collaborate with competent authorities to obtain construction permits.
  • Coordination of construction execution: Often, the architectural and structural design section is involved in coordinating project implementation, which includes working with contractors, verifying execution quality, and ensuring the project adheres to the initial documentation and specifications.
  • Project revision and adaptation: During execution, changes in site conditions or client requirements may arise. The section is responsible for reviewing and adapting plans and technical solutions based on new conditions.
