INSPECTOR-SUPERVISOR IN THE EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRY, occupation code – 312101

 

Classes are held daily (Monday-Friday), 4 hours per day, over a period of 2.5 months.

 

Inspectors-supervisors in the extractive industry oversee mining and quarry operations, directly supervise, and coordinate the activities of miners working in underground and surface mines and quarries.

 

Individuals who complete the “Inspector-Supervisor in the Extractive Industry” program can obtain a permit to work as responsible persons for mining and quarry operations for extracting useful minerals and opening deposits of useful mineral substances.

 

Professional Competencies:

  • Applying legislative and regulatory acts governing state safety standards in mining;
  • Interpreting topographic plans, cross-sections of mining excavations, and galleries;
  • Analyzing technical documentation and project plans for organizing underground mining operations;
  • Determining the scope of overburden and extraction of useful mineral deposits;
  • Supervising compliance with safety requirements during mining and quarry operations;
  • Monitoring the processes of underground mining;
  • Organizing transportation and excavation of rocks from underground operations;
  • Investigating the technical causes of accidents and incidents in mining operations.

 

Course Format:

  • Theoretical lessons conducted in the training center classrooms;
  • Practical internships organized at enterprises with which the institution has collaboration agreements.

 

Final Assessment:

The course concludes with a graduation exam. Participants who successfully pass the exam are awarded a Certificate of Professional Competence (series CCPF) in Romanian and English, available in both electronic and paper formats. The certificate is accompanied by a descriptive supplement.

 

Admission Conditions:

Individuals with higher, post-secondary technical, or professional-technical secondary education, aged 18 or older, physically and mentally fit, capable of working in challenging conditions for mineral extraction.

 

Required Documents for Enrollment:

  • A simple copy of the identity card;
  • A copy of the educational certificate;
  • 1 photo, size 3x4.

 

The professional training courses for adults are conducted in person at the following address: mun. Chișinău, Botanica sector, Sarmizegetusa Street, 43.
