PLASTERER, occupation code – 712307

Classes are held daily (Monday-Friday), 4 hours per day, over a period of 1 month.

Currently, the construction sector is in high demand, and plasterers perform a wide variety of tasks: executing all types of plastering, from simple to decorative; assembling and dismantling scaffolding; creating plastering templates; filling and smoothing surfaces; insulating surfaces; and pouring floors.

Graduates of the course can work in construction companies or provide individual services.

Professional Competencies:

• Estimating the required materials, tools, and equipment for plastering different surfaces under various operational conditions;
• Preparing surfaces for plastering;
• Preparing mortar (mixes) for plastering;
• Plastering interior and exterior surfaces, walls, columns, pillars, window and door openings, and performing screeds;
• Applying methods/techniques to renovate plastered surfaces;
• Checking the quality of plastered surfaces and addressing any identified irregularities.

Course Format:

• Theoretical lessons conducted in the training center classrooms;
• Practical activities held in the Construction Works Laboratory, equipped with the necessary tools;
• Production internships organized at enterprises with which the institution has collaboration agreements.

Final Assessment:

The course concludes with a graduation exam. Participants who successfully pass the exam are awarded a Certificate of Professional Competence (series CCPF) in Romanian and English, available in both electronic and paper formats. The certificate is accompanied by a descriptive supplement.

Admission Conditions:

Any interested individual aged 16 or older, physically and mentally fit, and capable of practicing as a plasterer.

Required Documents for Enrollment:

• A simple copy of the identity card;
• A copy of the educational certificate.
