PAINTER, occupation code – 713104

Classes are held daily (Monday-Friday), 4 hours per day, over a period of 1 month.

Currently, the construction sector is highly in demand, and painters perform a variety of tasks: preparing construction element surfaces, assembling and dismantling scaffolding, copying and creating templates for applying decorative designs, performing standard and decorative painting manually or mechanically, and wallpapering with various types of wallpaper.

Graduates of the course can work in construction companies or provide individual services.

Professional Competencies:

• Estimating the required materials, tools, and equipment for finishing different surfaces under various operational conditions;
• Preparing surfaces for finishing works;
• Preparing compositions for finishing works;
• Painting/coating interior and exterior surfaces;
• Wallpapering surfaces;
• Checking the quality of finished surfaces and addressing any identified irregularities.

Course Format:

• Theoretical lessons conducted in the training center classrooms;
• Practical activities held in the Construction Works Laboratory, equipped with the necessary tools;
• Production internships organized at enterprises with which the institution has collaboration agreements.

Final Assessment:

The course concludes with a graduation exam. Participants who successfully pass the exam are awarded a Certificate of Professional Competence (series CCPF) in Romanian and English, available in both electronic and paper formats. The certificate is accompanied by a descriptive supplement.

Admission Conditions:

Any interested individual aged 16 or older, physically and mentally fit, and capable of practicing as a painter.

Required Documents for Enrollment:

• A simple copy of the identity card;
• A copy of the educational certificate.
